Do you need privacy by day or at night?
This is the first question to answer. Reflective films depend on the lighting difference across the glass. A bright interior at night can make it possible to see inside. Film sold for daytime privacy should not be presented as a guaranteed night-time solution.
Reflective, frosted or patterned
Reflective options can retain an outlook under suitable lighting. Frosted or opaque finishes obscure the view through the treated area and are useful for bathrooms and internal partitions. Patterned coverage offers design flexibility but leaves some sight lines open.
Think about the viewing angle
Decide whether privacy is needed from the footpath, a neighbour, a corridor or seated occupants in a nearby space. Coverage height and glass position matter as much as the film finish. Samples help show how the result will look.
What to send with your enquiry
Tell us the room or premises type, suburb, day-versus-night requirement and approximate panes. A photo showing the glass and the viewing direction is more helpful than a close-up of an isolated pane.
Check product-specific information
Use the actual manufacturer’s current data and application guidance. These official resources explain why product and glass selection matter.
