Film life depends on product construction, adhesive quality, sun exposure, glass, installation, cleaning and the conditions where the vehicle or building is used. A shaded window and a west-facing window can age differently.
Signs film needs attention
Possible warning signs include bubbling, edge lifting, colour change, scratching, haze or adhesive failure. The cause should be assessed before deciding whether removal and replacement are required.
Care after installation
Follow the installer’s waiting period before lowering vehicle windows or cleaning new film. Use a soft microfibre cloth and a film-safe cleaner. Avoid blades, abrasive pads, harsh chemicals and stickers that can damage the surface.
Read the warranty
