SunTek: Carbon and CXP construction ↗What is carbon tint?
Carbon film uses carbon-based technology. SunTek describes its Carbon and CXP ranges as non-reflective black films; CXP uses an upgraded non-metal nano-hybrid carbon construction. This is why two “carbon” quotes can describe different levels of performance.
When is it worth considering?
Compare carbon when you want a balance of appearance, budget and comfort. Ask whether the next step to ceramic offers a useful solar-performance improvement at your chosen shade and what that upgrade costs.
Do not pay for a label alone
Check the range printed on the quote. Standard carbon, enhanced carbon and ceramic are not interchangeable descriptions. Manufacturer data is more useful than a package called “premium” without an identified product.
