USEFUL LIGHT FOR WORK AND HOME
Describe the screen, not just the window
For a home office, note where your monitor sits and when reflections or brightness become distracting. A room photograph can be more useful than a close-up of glass. Consider whether changing the desk position helps before deciding how much visible light to reduce.
Separate internal privacy from outside glare
If an office has both external glazing and an internal meeting-room partition, prepare two requirements. The external panes may need solar control, while the partition may need frosting. One dark film is unlikely to be the right brief for both purposes.
Include the everyday vehicle in the comparison
For automotive tint, decide whether budget, appearance or heat comfort leads the choice. Compare suitable products and the included windows. If the vehicle already has aftermarket film, identify its condition so removal can be considered before replacement is priced.
What to include in your Caversham enquiry
- A room photo showing the desk or screen
- The hours when glare is worst
- External versus internal panes listed separately
The quote builder starts with your suburb already selected. Approximate information is fine at this stage; measurements, product suitability and the installation arrangements are confirmed before booking.
Questions before you choose
Will window film remove all screen reflections?
Not necessarily. Screen position and room lighting also matter. Explain the actual glare problem so a film can be considered alongside layout changes.
Can my home office have privacy and a view?
Discuss when privacy is needed and the lighting on each side. A clear outlook and reliable night-time obscuring privacy usually require different solutions.
